Fun with Email Phishing

Nope, that isn’t a misspelling in the title. I’m talking about email messages that intended to gain personal information (like social security numbers or account usernames/passwords) from the email recipient. These phishers then use the grabbed information to send more spam or phishing messages, or gain access to things like bank accounts or credit cards.

Phishing is a bad, bad scene.

I believe there is a special circle of Hell for phishers and their ilk.

And, remember: passwords are like underwear. Change yours often. Don’t leave them lying around. Don’t share them with friends.
